    'Bump' To Flatgap

    Very mellow bump to flatgap, fun spot especially as there's a load of curbs and ledges right there

    3 up, 3 down

    3 stair up, 3 down. Big pop up required but good spot

    Hidden and rarely skated, lot's of stairs to be had. Pretty crust though

    55 Degrees North Underground Rails

    If you can find your way through the security gate theres 2 handrails and an out rail to be skated, plenty of NBD's to be had

    55 Degrees up rail

    Two identical long uprails, you gotta have your pop out game on lock though

    Arena

    A collection of stairs ranging from a 2 to a 5 with a slappy curb and some ledges thrown in there.

    Asda Bank

    brink bank topped by a fence screaming for an ollie over

    Autosounds 7

    Skinny but small 7 stair. Curb at the top so manny potential

    Autosounds Rail

    Tarmac bump to grind

    Bank to wallride Tunnel

    Cobble banks to wallride. Good spot but hard to skate. Shoutout Dan Main on the bs wallride

    Barker & Stonehouse Ledge

    Selection of Marble window ledges, best to be skated after working hours

    Bench Hillbomb

    Metal bench on a hillbomb. Trick in at the top, powerslide, ledge trick, bomb the hill. FS for Regs

    Bike Garage Ledge To Bank

    One push run up ledge drop into a long mellow bank, very much not skateable during working hours

    Blue Carpet 1/4

    The not so blue carpet art installation turned skate spot. The blue tiled floor is pealed up and resting against the wall creating a short, whippy, pointed 1/4

    Blue Rails

    Lot's of flatbar potential right outside the Wastey. Floor not amazing but makes up for it in convenience

    Boardslide ledge and Core gap

    Pretty perfect gap and ledge for boardslides and grinds

    Boathouse Ledge

    Crusty ledge over a gap. Rough floor but sick spot.

    Bollard gap

    Thin wall run-up to a gap over a bollard! Ghetto sean ollied back in the day but everything else NBD

    Bump to bench

    Gnarly drain to bench gap. Only scotch has stepped to this one

    Byker Baths Ollie Up Then 6

    Ollie up a curb then quick feet 6 stair. Good spot. Manny potential as well as stair tricks.

    Byker Metro hubba

    Mellow downledge. FS for Goofy, BS for regs. Probs best with a crew here.

    Carpark Bank

    A rough floored bank which has seen many a trick sent into over the years and a mosher drop for the not so faint of heart

    Over a fence and fast feet gap to road

    Carpark Wallride

    Soft wheels recommended for the now terrible ground

    Castle Leazes Bank

    a short steep bank situated in the heart of Castle Leazes syudent accomodation

    Pretty perfect downrail. Bs if you're regs!

    Central Statue Manny and Wallie

    Stone manny pad and pretty hefty wallie out into the road

    China Town Ledge

    Another toon classic. Small ledge and a taller one too. Just round the corner from the shop!

    China Town Wallrides

    Tall and super crusty wallrides

    Church Ledge

    Newly renovated Church ledge spot. Curved and straight ledges. Nice flatground. Pretty lit at night too.

    Civic 8

    Ground has seen better days but this remains one of the more legit stair sets the toon has to offer

    Civic Benches

    A line of marble benches, a little on the high side with a tiled floor that leaves a lot to be desired

    Civic Manny pad and gap

    Pretty perfect manny pad to drop. Also a big gap skating it the other way

    Cluny 4

    Gnarly 4 block. Ledges to be skated too. Nice spot for a pint also!

    Coast Road Roundabout ledge

    Pretty crusty ledge but good floor and can skate it all day everyday

    Cobble gap

    Massive cobble flat gap. Jamie C HOWMAN

    College Block 3

    College White Ledge

    Connor North Fence Gap

    Gnarly flatgap over a fence onto the road. Only stepped to by Connor North for his ender in his Gasoline section

    Core Down Ledges

    Pretty sick donwledges. One available for mega distance the other with a cap in the middle. FS and BS board done all the way already

    Core Flat Ledge

    Recently bondo's to be made skateable. Pretty perfect ledge for grinds and slides

    Core Manny Pad

    Circlular pad that probably looks better than it is, but worth a session

    Curved Boardslide ledge

    Legit spot for slides. Floor has seen better days but still skateable

    Cycle Path/Bank

    One of the newer town spots. Two separate bits along John Dobson Street. One undercover, one in the open. Lovely smooth bike path with slappy curbs for days and good for manuals. The undercover section also has a skateable ledge and crusty pop on banks that have been getting hammers sent on them in the Toon for many years! Really fun warm up spot!

    Disco Ledge

    Great ledge. Really smooth floor. Flatbars too, mainly a weekend session as it's a carpark that's full during the week.

    Downhill ledge and Ollie up to bin

    Ledges on a downhill with the last one having to the added option of ollie up and onto / over a bin after

    Fat Buddah Manny

    Modest height manny pad with a few hefty ledges

    Freeman Multi story manny pad

    Manny pad to drop on the top of the multi story. Sick spot. Decent chance of kickout though

    Gap to Bench

    One of the Toons more iconic spots Gap to Bench, gap the 2 to grind, slide, manny or send it over the full thing.

    Girder Gap

    reasonably high, slightly slanted girder grind over a grate

    Harry Bastard Banks

    Legit bank spot. Not an easy one to skate but a fun session for sure and undercover so can be a saviour in the rain. Many classic tricks have gone down here over the years. Undercover drop down ledge just round the corner and a downhill curb in the carpark right there too. Plenty to be had near the banks!

    Haymarket

    Once the weekend meeting spot for the scene now a very rarely touched manny pad and stair set

    Heaton Estate Manny Pads

    Decent manny spot. Probably get some riff raff interactions here.

    Heaton Park Mini Rails

    Mini flatbars in a nice park. Good for a mess about. Couple kinkers to spice it up. Nice for chilling especially in summer

    Herons Ride On Grinds

    Ride on grinds out the back of Herons. Probably a bust when the shops open

    Hidden 4

    4 stair. No kickout bur floor has seen better days

    Jesmond Metro drop ledges

    Good spot recently unlocked by an OG Bmx'r. Drop down ledges in a row. Potential for a 3 ledge grind line

    Law Courts 8 Stair

    Two 8 stairs one after another. Good run up with nice smooth floor. Good for getting gnarly. One of the most documented Newcastle spots in Uk touring videos. A proper classic!

    Leazes 13

    Massive 13 only sessioned by a mere few og's! Crust these days. Ollie up from both directions at the top of the 13.

    Leazes Gap

    A smooth tarmac run up to gap over and down a selection of railings, stone walls and hedges. Only skated by one person. Big NBD potential here

    Leazes Pond Rail

    Not the greatest of up rails with a lot of board in water potentional

    Ledge Drop Ledge

    This ledge drop ledge is fairly cursty and isn't made much better by it's gravely run-up. It's fun for a one and done though

    Library Ledge

    A not so skated spot these days... 2 modest hieght ledges begging for some grind to grind action. A small block at the end offers up a gap to grind oppertunity for the quicker footed out there.

    Library Manny Pad & Ledge

    Long thing manny pad and grind/slide ledge at the end, ideally skated after hours. Good spot though

    Long downhill bank

    Downhill bank for tricks in at the top

    Manny pad spot

    One of the better Manny spots in Town with two manny pads one after another on smooth floor. Weekend or after hours spot

    Marble Block

    Pretty good marble ledge which has recently had the stoppers off. 5 stair after for lines but quick kick on the stairs

    Medieval Bank

    Crusty cobble bank with slappy in potential. Curb at the bottom so only really for going in. Nothing done other than a Jackie Young Kickflip

    Mega Hill Bomb

    Just a big hill. Recently tarmaced so perfectly smooth. Best with a spotter as a bus route and blind corner at the bottom

    Metal Planters

    Planters with silver coping for grinds and slides. Quite tall and quick bust

    Millenium Bridge

    Slanted metal ledge hittable via one of the many benches

    Monument 2/Manny Pad

    situated in the heart of the city this spot can be skated as a two block or manny pad

    Monument Benches

    Monument has a selection of Marble dotted about but these two in a row are the go to (depending on the season could be surrounded by turf)

    Newcastle College

    Plenty to offer at the college but high kickout factor

    Ollie up and out bench

    Fast feet Ollie up to tricks over and out

    One Block, Two Block, Three Block

    Decent gaps and can work your way up size wise. Not amazing run-up but skateable

    Pilgrim Drop down manny and grind

    Brand new. Drop down manny pad ledges. Recently knobusted, so can grind through the drops. Really good spot

    Pilgrim street ledge to double bank

    Slappy height ledge into double bank. Gnarly spot. Not even built when this map image was taken. Props to Matty Smith for SW K grind and in.

    Quayside 4 then 3

    Another decent stair spot. Best to have a spotter though as board in the river potential

    Quayside 6

    Pretty big 6 stair. Good runup though. Again best to have a spotter

    Quayside Ledge

    Tall and crusty ledge. Fun one though.

    Queens banks

    Quorum Curved ledge

    Not much space around it but grinds super good

    Quorum Slappy bank

    Really fun spot. Mellow bank for tricks in with slappy potential at the top

    Rail to Manny

    Red Marble wall ledge

    Weird ledge spot against a wall. Nice red marble. Not an easy one to skate as a weird round shape

    River 5

    Another Toon classic! Pretty perfect 5 stair with great run up and smooth ground! Just up the river from the Tyne Bridge. Great for summer sessions.

    Royal mail gap

    Fun little gap at the back of a royal mail depot

    RVI 5

    Tiny 5 stair. Good fun. Kickout though

    RVI Mini Wallenburg

    Looks exactly like a micro wallenburg. Kickout though.

    Shieldfield estate outledges

    Good outledges and crusty 6 stair

    Shop Front Wall Gap

    Good gap over a wall but right on a shop front open all day, everyday. First try spot this one

    Smackhead Double

    Maybe the gnarliest spot in Toon. A fat 3 flat 3 set. Can skate the two 3's separately or be like Scott Cherry and a select few others and send the full thing. If you haven't seen Scott's classic Sw heel get it watched. Great run up, quite a sketchy location however.

    Smooth Path

    Exactly what the name suggests, a long smooth path for warming up or endless games of skate

    St James Undercover

    Multi story carpark so under cover. Smooth flat and crusty curbs and ledges.

    Taco Bell ledge to manny

    Marble Ledge with potential to go to manny and off the curb

    Taxman Gap

    Brand New. Freshest spot in town. Really fun little gap, wooden ledges to grind and slide. No kickout, for now

    Teletubbies bank

    a mellow astro turf bank for doing tricks into & manny pad

    The Core

    Maybe the best spot Newcastle has to offer. Everything you could want you'll find at the core. Ledges galore, manny pads, gaps. It has the lot. Sometimes a kickout but security also fairly lenient at times. If you're skating Newcastle you have to check it out!

    The Scorpions Tail (Floating 1/4)

    One of newcastle's gnarliest spots. Floating 1/4 about a story and a half up. Only ever skated by a handful of people.

    Times square curved flatbar

    Rarely touched curved flatbar. Pretty legit. BS for regs

    Tindy ledge and Boardslide ledge

    Super smooth flat. Tiny ledge and ledge for boardslides, pop out only though.

    Toffee Factory Ledge

    Really small outledge. Super chill spot. Weekend or after hours recommended.

    Two Block

    Decent twoblock with a curb high block to clear at the top. Quick kickout

    Undercover ledges

    One of towns better covered spots. Good floor with two wooden ledges. Can get wet if sideways rain

    Uni Bin Bonk

    Quick footed drop in to bin bonker

    Uni mellow banks

    Super mellow marble banks and a wallride. Fun ride but quick kickout

    Uni Planter

    thin red brick run up to metal trimmed planter

    Uni Red Brick Hubba

    1 push run up to red brick hubba

    Uni Stairs/Slappy Ledge

    A 3 flat 3 flat 5 with a hard to skate out ledge and a few ride on slappie ledges

    Uni Wall Gap

    Thin run up & landing

    UNion Rooms

    Pretty legit in and out spot. Busy location. Prudhoe Burger with the ollie in tre out

    Wallie Ledge

    Wallie to grind/slide ledge. Ledge has seen better days could do with some fixing up.

    Warwick Street Curbs

    Just round the corner from the white ledge, a good seletion of curbs have been rubbricked and waxed. Plenty fun to be had here

    White Ledge

    Wooden Flat ledges and in and out pad

    4 great wooden flat ledges and an interesting in and out spot. Plenty fun to be had here
